Made by the russ-berrie company in the late 60s, or early 70s, these characters were supposed to hang from the rear view mirror of your car. Novelty items such as this, were popular back in that time period, but is all but forgotten now. My intrest in these type of items probably stems back to my early youth when i would travel over half an hour by bus to the smoke and joke shop.

These are "ridiculous boxes" from 1969. Not sure how to describe these, as they really are not toys, but do have some functionality. Probably made a terrific weed container for some hippie back in the day. They also seem like they might fall into the "panton era" kind of collectable.

Back in the 70s, lucky bastard kids who got to go to Disneyland, could buy these Randotti skulls at the Haunted mansion. These are kind of a chalkware type material but with a twist. They glow in the dark. What elevates these above other toy skulls is the detail and craftmanship. Coupled with the Disney name, these have become highly collectable.
